When observing the political landscape of our world today it seems like the level of political polarization is reaching heights never seen in recent history. People almost everywhere are frustrated by the current state of affairs(unemployment, poor healthcare, poor economic performance, high levels of criminality, etc.). What it interesting is to see how it is happening in both rich and not so rich countries. The question becomes, where have we gone astray? Is it our economic system that is to blame? Is it the policies that we put in place that are causing this dysfunction? Or is it that we the people have become too detached with our reality. We have halted our participation in the management of our society?
